I am still on hold with Jetblue, 1 hour and 38 minutes later. So much for "your wait will be less than 20 minutes."
I hate this I hate this I hate this. I wish I hadn't bought the stupid flight, just so I could go to bed now. By the time I finally get to go to bed now, I'l lbe too afraid to go to bed (too afraid that I won't wake up), and won't end up getting any sleep at all.
I *could* cancel it online, but then they would just give me a credit toward a future flight, and what i've learned from this is that i never ever want to travel on jetblue ever again.

I'm tempted to just go to bed, get on the flight, and sort it all out with them later (at the gate? since i'm sure i'll be waiting forever anyway?), but if I have to do it by phone, that will be daytime minutes. but i'm falling apart and i need sleep and i don't know what to do.

edit: it is 2:59AM; I have been on hold for 2 hours and 28 minutes. i have: read the entire new york times, cried in frustration, blown my nose a lot, wrote a long written complaint and submitted it to jetblue's online customer complaint area. I have not: slept, spoken with a jetblue representative.

readers, your thoughts: What should I do at this point? a) go to bed for 90 minutes, try to make the 8 am flight. b) stay on the line with jetblue c) cancel the flight online for future jetblue credit, recognizing that there is a very significant chance i will not wake up in time for a flight that departs in 6 hours from an airport 90 minutes from my house/try to fight them for a full refund later? If I'd talked to someone two hours ago, sure, the flight would have been fine, but now i'm totally exhausted and just don't think it's a good idea to try and get to the airport in the next few hours. I'm inclined toward c, but i don't want to be stuck with $170 of credit that i don't want. please advise.
